How does a Pfister diverter work?
Price Pfizer’s diverter valve uses a compression stem and a single rubber washer to redirect the flow of water from the tub’s spout to the shower head so that the shower can be used. Once this single rubber washer has worn out, leaks will result even when the diverter is closed.
Can a shower diverter be replaced by a plumber?
Engage the shower diverter, directing the water flow to the showerhead. If your shower flows well and no water leaks from the bathtub spout, then your shower diverter replacement was successful. If replacing the diverter did not solve the problem, we recommend contacting a plumber for assistance.
How do you take care of a Pfister faucet?
Pfister has made it easy for you to care for your kitchen and bathroom faucets, fixtures and accessories. In most cases, a soft damp cloth will keep your products looking like new for years to come. Lightly soak the cloth with warm, soapy water and clean faucet surfaces regularly.
Why does my shower diverter keep leaking water?
If, after you trigger your shower diverter, water continues to leak out of the bathtub spout rather than the showerhead, the shower diverter is not working properly. This could mean that the inner rubber stopper isn’t creating a good seal to fully block and redirect the flow of water, or it could be another problem.

What should I do if my shower diverter is not working?
